About the Artist Randy Gloss, a percussionist whose background performing several modalities of hand drums, contemporary percussion, and drum set has lead to his involvement in many innovative ensembles that fuse world music with new music and jazz. Most notable is the Hands On'Semble, a percussion quartet devoted to the art of hand drumming led by renowned percussionist/composer John Bergamo. In addition Randy has recorded with Swappan Chaudhuri, Glen Velez,Jovino Santos Neto, Jamey Haddad, Mark Nauseef, Chitravina Ravikiran, and many more.....You can hear Randy on film soundtracks by composer Danny Elfman and Gary Chang. Randy is a Professor at the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) and travels all over the world teaching and performing.
