Janet Aldridge, CLM, CLL |
| United Kingdom, Kent, Hayes, Kent, England |
| I qualified as a Registered General nurse in 1980. For the last 10years I have been a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Lymphoedema and I am working in a Palliative care team in South East London. I have nursed many patients recovering from breast cancer treatment and also patients suffering from both primary and secondary lymphoedema am a qualified MLD therapist and I am always excited to see the response to intensive lymphoedema treatments but am also very aware that many people struggle daily coping with the debilitating effects of lymphoedema. I feel that exercise has an integral part to play in the management of lymphoedema and I look forward to seeing positive results using the Lebed programme of exercise. |

Denise Regina Amato, CLM, CLMC |
| United States, Oregon, Portland |
| Born in Adelaide, Australia - I am an international Interior Designer and an award winning Middle Eastern and Gypsy dancer. Love of music and dance renewed with a vengeance upon my experience with breast cancer and unexpected suffering from the treatments that followed. Coupled with the cancer - fear and a frozen arm paralyzed my life, until a loving friend literally dragged me to my first ME dance class. Not tiny or twenty, I am committed to the joy and miracles that movement and music can create in ANY life. I believe, like The Lebed Method, that healing is only a movement away. |

Darlene Anderson, CLMC |
| United States, Michigan, Shelby Township |
| I married my wonderful husband, Andrew, in 1987. We have since been blessed
with two great children, Andrew, Jr. and Randi Caitlyn born in 1991.
Professionally, I have held many positions in numerous businesses - up to
and including my own company - all the while looking for something that
would fulfill my desire to help those dearest to me. Cancer has touched the
lives of some of my closest family members, including my grandmother, aunts,
uncles, cousins, and my husband's brother. Watching these courageous people
fight the battle for their very lives has filled me with awe and with a need
to help somehow. My passion and excitement over the Lebed Method comes
directly from watching these brave individuals survive the battle against
cancer only to have the quality of their lives diminished -- my desire is to
get those brave survivors THRIVING!! |
